Insurance company "Alcona" took part in the sport - charitable act «Run under chestnuts» which took place on the 27 of May in Kiev Day. The Run as charitable act has a specific addressee. All raised funds are directed to purchase of medical supplies, equipment and materials for the unique Children's Cardiology and Cardiosurgery Center of Ministry of Health of Ukraine. And it is honorable to IC "Alcona" to participate in the jubilee fifteenth act - the company rendered a financial support to the Centre. On a press-conference holding on June, 4 at the Centre, devoted to summarizing of the act results, the certificate of a sponsor's support was handed to Children's Cardiology and Cardiosurgery Center on behalf of the company.
Speaking about the importance of the project, the chairman of board Boris Boyko, in particular, noted: «Organizers of the act «Run under chestnuts» set a noble aim - to help children who desperately need a treatment. The more funds will be raised the more children's lives it will be saved, health will be recovered to a lot of children. For this reason we regard it as our duty to support such undertakings».
