Insurance company "Alcona" summarized its activity for the first half of 2007.
During six months of 2007 9,4 million UAH of insurance compensations were paid to the clients of the company what 1,7 times exceeds a similar index of 2006. Payments to individual persons equal to 7,7 million UAH. The greatest volume of insurance compensation accounts for medical insurance (51,1 %) and transportation (40,6 %).
During the accounting period 20,9 million UAH of insurance payments were collected. The basic source of insurance receipts are premiums on voluntary kinds of insurance what makes 81,5 % from the total amount of insurance premium. The greatest volume of receipts accounts for property insurance - 10,4 million UAH (49,6 % from the total amount of insurance premium). Insurance premium charges for personal insurance amounted to 6,2 million UAH (29,5 %). Insurance contributions from individual persons equal to 12,9 million UAH. The total amount of insurance premium the receipt from individual persons equals to 62 % (as of 2006 - 48,8 %).
The share of a regional network in total amount of insurance charges of the company is 30,1 % (as of 2006 - 25 %). Growth of insurance premium charges was shown in the company’s branches in Donetsk, Uzhgorod, Kharkov, Khmelnitski, Energodar.
